Metronome buys producer Sto-Co

Metronome acquires Swedish producer Stockholm and Copenhagen

Scandinavian production group Metronome has bought Swedish producer Stockholm and Copenhagen and there are plans for more acquisitions.

Schibsted-backed Metronome is one of the region’s biggest TV players, owning Meter, Mekano, Spartacus and numerous other producers. Stockholm and Copenhagen produces comedy and entertainment shows and was snapped up for an initial Skr60 million ($8.9 million).

Mats Alders, Metronome CEO, said: "One of the reasons they sold to us is they want access to our sales channels in the Nordic region."
