Zeal inks Singing Bee deals

Formats distributor Zeal Entertainment has inked a raft of deals for its karaoke contest Singing Bee.

Broadcasters including Australia’s Nine Network, Greece’s Alpha TV, Spain’s Antena 3, Belgium’s VTM, Iceland’s Screen 1, Turkey’s Show TV, Columbia’s Caracol and Sweden’s TV3 will all produce local versions of the show where contestants sing words or phrases instead of spelling words.

Former N Sync pop star Joey Fatone will present the Australian version.
