BBC jumps through Hole in the Wall
British public broadcaster the BBC has picked up Fremantle’s hit gameshow Hole in the Wall.
The show, which was originally known as Human Tetris, is based on a Japanese format and was a segment of Fuji TV’s existing gameshow Tunnels’ Thanks For Everyone. It sees contestants bend their bodies for prizes.
The show has already sold to a raft of international broadcasters including Nine Network (Australia).
FremantleMedia, which launched the show at Mipcom, inked the agreement with the BBC and the British broadcaster is looking to air the show in a primetime slot.
