Fremantle inks Live from Abbey Road deals

FremantleMedia has closed a number of international deals for the second season of its live music series Live from Abbey Road.

The 12 part series, which was commissioned for Channel 4 (UK) has been sold to Sony Channel (Latin America), Sundance Channel (US), XYZ (Australia), Mediacorp (Singapore), YLE (Finland), The Biography Channel (Germany) and Super Kanal (Turkey).

The show is produced by Live from Abbey Road Limited, an independent production company formed by the show’s producers Michael Gleason and Peter van Hooke, and is produced through a license with record label EMI, which owns the studio. FremantleMedia distributes the show worldwide.
