AB inks Prophecy deals

French distributor AB International has sold its eight part mini series The Avignon Prophecy to a host of worldwide broadcasters including Mediaset (Italy).

AB has inked new deals with the Berlusconi-owned broadcaster, VRT (Belgium) and Euskal TV (Spain). This follows sales to Ceska TV (Czech Republic), RTL Klub (Hungary), TV Markiza (Slovakia) and ERT Digital (Greece), earlier this month.

The 8x52mins drama series follows a young female curator at the Pope’s Palace in Avignon as she embarks on an historical adventure.

The show was commissioned by France 2 and produced by Merlin, AT Productions and RTBF.
