Distraction inks deal with Aito

Formats distributor Distraction has inked a first look deal with Finnish production company Aito Media.

The agreement will allow Distraction to sell Aito Media formats including Teen Revolution, The Road Debate and Granny For Hire to international broadcasters. It also gives Aito Media first option to produce any of Distraction’s scripted and unscripted catalog in Finland.

Teen Revolution is a reality series that is set to launch on YLE Finland, which sees teenagers given the chance to ‘live out their dreams’ such as the environmentally friendly teen who is given the opportunity to run the local power plant. Meanwhile, The Road Debate is a factual format that has aired on YLE2 for two season and puts two people with contrasting views in a relaxed setting to argue and debate.

Distraction will be distributing these formats at the forthcoming Mipcom market.
