RDF inks doc deals
RDF Rights has closed a number of international deals for a range of documentaries, including sales to US networks.
The distribution arm of RDF Media has sold its one hour Firecracker Films-produced documentary Young Guns to NBC-owned news channel MSNBC. The show, which was commissioned by Channel 4, has also been acquired by international broadcasters including Nine (Australia), TV Norge (Norway), TV4 (Sweden), Nelonen (Finland), SBS (Netherlands) and TV New Zealand.
The film follows a number of families from Arkansas and Arizona that are passionate about guns and train their young children to use them whether they like it or not.
RDF has also inked deals for its 7x1hour series Caribbean Cops. The series, which airs on digital terrestrial channel Virgin1, has been sold to US cable network truTV (formerly known as Court TV) as well as satellite network Sky New Zealand.
