Target closes various Canadian deals
Target Entertainment has closed a number of sales in Canada ahead of MIPCOM.
The UK-based distributor has sold a raft of reality series and documentaries to broadcasters.
Canwest has picked up documentary Kate: The New Diana and ABH Productions’ Downsize My Pet, while W Network acquired Scarlett Television-produced Diana’s Last Day.
Much MTV and CTV have acquired reality series Hogan Knows Best, which stars Hulk Hogan’s daughter Brooke, and MTV Canada has picked up series four and five of dating format Next.
Meanwhile, Out TV has picked up Stone & Co Entertainment’s six part surfer reality series Curl Girls and Simon Goodman Production’s Coming Out Stories, both of which were produced for MTV-owned gay and lesbian cable network Logo.
