Phineas and Ferb movie in the works
The creators of the Disney Channel’s Phineas and Ferb are working on a feature-length version of the hit animated series that they hope will become a Disney Channel Original Movie.
Jeff ‘Swampy’ Marsh told TBIvision that he and the show’s co-creator Dan Povenmire, are working on a movie length Phineas and Ferb. Disney will make a decision on whether to green light it early next year. Marsh and Povenmire are also thinking about possible spin-off series.
"We’re just beginning to think about the possibilities [regarding a spin-off]," Marsh said. "And there’s potentially a movie as well. We’re talking about a movie and doing some writing. We’ve thought long and hard about it."
BAFTA-nominated Phineas and Ferb is a Disney Channel Original series and bowed worldwide, to much acclaim, last year. Jeff ‘Swampy’ Marsh’s other credits include The Simpsons, King of the Hill and Rocko’s Modern Life.
