E! orders reality series following The Saturdays
US cable network E! has ordered a reality series following British pop group The Saturdays.
The NBC Universal-owned broadcaster has commissioned Chasing The Saturdays, following the band as they try to break America.
The ten part series is produced by Comcast Entertainment Studios and will be distributed internationally by NBC Universal International Television Distribution. It will be exec produced by Saved By The Bell’s Peter Engel and Perry Dance and Ted Iredell, the pair responsible for Making The Band, as well as Peter Loraine, Jay James and Albert Spevak.
It was ordered by E! president Suzanne Kolb and will launch in January.
