Sky Italia picks up Passion programming

Italian pay TV broadcaster Sky has acquired over 100 hours of lifestyle programming from Passion Distribution.

Sally Miles’ distribution firm has sold a raft of content to Sky Arte HD and Sky Italia.

Sky Arte HD has acquired the first five seasons of Sundance Channel’s Iconoclasts as well as Visionaries: Inside the Creative Mind, David Hockney: A Bigger Picture, Stanley Kubrick’s Boxes, All The Right Moves, Stealing Shakespeare and Architecture School.

Sky Italia has bought seasons four through seven of Scripps Network International’s House Crashers and Disaster House.

Meanwhile, Discovery Italy has bought the first two seasons of food format The Great Food Truck Race.
