USA Network cancels Common Law
US cable network USA Network has cancelled cop drama Common Law.
The series, which starred Michael Ealy and Warren Kole as a pair of LA police officers who can’t stand each other, launched in May but has been cancelled by the NBC Universal-owned cabler after poor ratings.
Common Law, which was produced by CBS Television Studios and Junction Entertainment, averaged just over 2 million viewers for its first 12 episodes, much lower than series including Burn Notice and Suits.
“I can confirm to those who have asked that we are not renewing Common Law,” tweeted USA Network’s head of research Ted Linhart. “Thanks to all the fans who watched and expressed their support.”
