Twofour Rights strikes post-MIPCOM deals
Nascent distributor Twofour Rights has closed a number of volume deals with international broadcasters following its debut at last month’s MIPCOM.
The British production company, which set up its distribution arm ahead of the market in Cannes, has struck deals with Australian pay TV broadcaster Foxtel and New Zealand’s The Living Channel.
Series included in both deals include 6x1hour fact ent series Alex Polizzi: The Fixer, one-off doc Britain’s Biggest Hoarders, 8x30mins Cornwall with Caroline Quentin, 5x1hour Home of the Future and property show Sealed Bids.
Foxtel has also picked up one-off Greatest Wedding Shockers, which originally aired on E4 in the UK.
The deals were struck by senior sales executive Holly Hodges.
Anthony Appell, head of sales, said: “MIPCOM was a great success for us. It’s testament to the strength of our catalogue and the great team we have in place that we’re already closing sales with key broadcasters from our first market.”
