Lifetime orders lingerie reality series Double Divas
US cable network Lifetime has ordered Double Divas, a reality series set in a lingerie store in Atlanta.
The A+E Networks-owned female skewing broadcaster has commissioned the series from NorthSouth Productions, which produces Say Yes To The Dress for TLC and Impractical Jokers for TruTV.
The series, which will launch in the new year, follows Atlanta’s boutique LiviRae Lingerie, which has the motto “no bust is too big to small, we fit them all”. The store is owned by bra whisperer Molly Hopkins and Cynthia Richards, who is described as the “Thomas Edison” of custom lingerie.
Double Divas will be executive produced by Charlie DeBovoise and Mark Hickman, producers of Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta as well as Lifetime’s Rob Sharenow, Gena McCarthy and Colleen Conway.
A+E Networks will handle international sales of Double Divas.
