Zodiak closes raft of volume deals in Canada

International distributor Zodiak Rights has closed a number of volume programming deals across Canada.

The company, the international division of Zodiak Media, has closed deals with Shaw Media for its BBC Canada network and Rogers Media for its G4 channel.

BBC Canada has picked up two seasons of property series Location Location Location, six seasons of The Hotel Inspector and Double Your House For Half The Money, which is presented by Sarah Beeny. All three series will launch in January.

Meanwhile Rogers Media has acquired five seasons of October Films-produced online clip show Rude Tube for its youth skewing entertainment channel.

Separately, the company has closed a handful of deals in Australia and New Zealand. Seven Network’s 7mate have picked up season five of the Alex Zane-fronted series Rude Tube along with the Christmas special, while the Comedy Channel in New Zealand has also bought series five of the 20x30mins series.
