Lifetime orders reality series Preacher’s Daughters
US cable network Lifetime has ordered Preacher’s Daughters, a new reality series following a group of teenage girls as they balance the temptations of adolescence.
The A+E Networks-owned broadcaster has ordered the eight part series from Thinkfactory Media, the production company run by Hatfields and McCoys producer Leslie Greif. It will be exec produced by Greif as well as Adam Reed, Emily Sinclair, Adam Freeman Lifetime’s executive vice president of programming Rob Sharenow, Gena McCarthy, Kimberly Chessler and Toby Faulkner.
A+E Networks will distribute Preachers’ Daughters internationally.
“Adolescence can be a challenging time of transition for children and their parents,” said Sharenow. “By opening their homes and lives to our viewers, the families featured on Preachers’ Daughters will provide an honest portrayal of their experiences — bookended by the deep love they share and shifting household dynamics in their beliefs.”
