Crackle orders more eps of Seinfeld web series
Sony’s online channel Crackle has ordered 24 more episodes of web comedy series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.
Ten episodes of the web series were released last year.
The show, which is produced by Sony-backed producer Embassy Row, features comedian Jerry Seinfeld talking to fellow comedians while travelling in a car.
The first series featured Larry David and Ricky Gervais among others.
The new episodes will be released on Crackle and www.comediansincarsgettingcoffee.com from this spring.
“This series was basically a silly, fun experiment in making a talk show where the host only talks to people when he wants to. And only while engaging in a meaningless activity,” said Seinfeld. “The response was great without us doing any ads or promotion and so we’re going to keep going. I like this new world.”
