Sky Vision hires Karen Wise

Sky Vision, the distribution arm of UK pay TV operator BSkyB, has hired Karen Wise as head of sales.

Wise was previously head of sales at (now defunct) Target Entertainment.

At Sky Vision she will report to Leona Connell, head of global sales, and oversee sales to the US, Benelux, Ireland and Israel.

Separately, Sky Vision announced various sales.

France 5, Servus TV (German-speaking Europe) and RTL Germany are among the buyers for David Attenborough series Kingdom of Plants.

UKTV, France 5 and Servus have acquired factual series Deserts & Life.
