New role for ProSiebenSat.1’s Schremper
German broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1 has named Ralf Schremper as chief financial officer, digital and adjacent, in addition to his existing role as executive vice-president, strategic planning/mergers and acquisitions and CFO and managing director of production arm Red Arrow Entertainment.
The ‘digital and adjacent’ segment of the company’s business is seen as ProSiebenSat.1’s most important growth driver, and the group plans to expand this business considerably in the next few years.
Schremper succeeds Ralf Gierig, who will now focus on his responsibilities for investor relations and group finance.
Separately, Gunnar Wiedenfels, chief financial officer, national, and co-managing director of ProSiebenSat.1 TV Deutschland will additionally take on the role of chief group controller, replacing Quinton Holland, who is leaving the company and returning to SBS Group as chief financial officer.
