Theresa Wise named RTS chief
The Royal Television Society has appointed ex-Disney exec Theresa Wise as its new chief executive.
She replaces Simon Albury, who is retiring as boss of the Society, which is leading UK-based forum for television and related media.
Wise has been consulting since leaving Disney, where she was senior VP, corporate strategy for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Prior to Disney she was at Accenture and Deloitte Consulting.
Wise said: “The Royal Television Society is a distinguished organisation with a cherished past and exciting future and it is a privilege to be appointed its CEO. I am looking forward to working closely with the Trustees, RTS Team, Regional Centres, members and patrons to take the RTS into its next phase.”
