UKTV orders more Castle and Body of Proof

UK pay TV channels group UKTV has ordered new seasons of US series Castle (above) and Body of Proof.

The shows air on UKTV’s Alibi channel.

UKTV cut the programming agreement, which gives it exclusive pay TV rights to both shows, with Disney UK and Ireland, which distributes the titles.

Specifically, the deal covers seasons 5 and 6 of Castle and seasons 3 and 4 of Body of Proof.

Both shows are among Alibi’s top performers. The fourth season of Castle averaged 366k individuals on Alibi. Season two of Body of Proof averaged 577k individuals.
