ITV Studio inks format deals for The Audience

ITV Studios Global Entertainment (ITVS GE) has sold The Audience format into Norway and Hungary.

ITV Studios Nordic will produce 8x45mins episodes of The Audience for Viasat’s TV 3 in Norway, while ITV Studios Global Entertainment has secured a deal in Hungary, where Paprika Latino will produce 6x60mins episodes for Viasat 3.

ITVS GE represents The Audience internationally as part of its first-look deal with The Garden. This latest international deal follows the successful launch of The Audience in Denmark, produced by Blu for DR1.

The Audience has also been produced in France for TF1, by ITV Studios France, Netherlands, produced by Vorst Media for RTL4 and Canada, where Force Four Entertainment will produce a it for the W Network.

In each episode of The Audience someone at an emotional crossroads opens up their life to The Audience – 50 ordinary people of diverse age and backgrounds who follow them constantly for a week, and help solve the protagonist’s problem.
