ITV Studios’ Four Weddings gets hitched in Germany, Russia and Romania

ITV Studios Global Entertainment has sold its Four Weddings format into several European territories.

The show, which was originally produced by ITV Studios for Sky Living in the UK, sees couples compete for prize of a dream wedding.

In Germany, ITV Studios is making Hochzeiten und eine Traumreise for Vox and it will debut in May. A series of pilot episodes have already gone out on the channel.

In Russia, Ren TV has ordered a local version of the show, which will be made by Studio Pelican and debut next month.

In Romania, Mediavision will make an 8x60mins version for TV Acasa.

ITV Studios GE says that Four Weddings has now been produced in 19 territories worldwide, including the USA (TLC), Canada (Slice), France (TF1) and Italy (Rete 4).
