FTA, pay TV nets visit Zodiak’s Ranch
Four free-to-air broadcasters are among new buyers of Zodiak Kids’ animated series The Ranch.
The 26x26mins show, which comes from Zodiak Media-owned Tele Images Productions and launched on TF1 last year, has gone to FTA nets RTS in Switzerland, SVT Barnkanalen in Sweden, POP TV in Slovenia and CFI in French-speaking Africa.
Furthermore, pay TV deals have been secured with Teletoon+/ Canal+ in Poland, Minimax in Central and Eastern Europe, Noga in Israel and Smart Çocuk in Turkey.
The Ranch (fka Secret Ranch) follows four teenage horse riders who operate an animal rescue home in the countryside.
It previously sold to French broadcasters Teletoon+ and horse-themed cable and satellite channel Equidia Life, DeA Kids and Super in Italy, ARD and KiKA in Germany, NRK Super in Norway, VRT in Belgium, Bridge Rights for DVD in Germany) and TF1 Video for DVD in France.
The Ranch is currently averaging a 22.6% market share rating among 4-10s in France, a 16% boost on its average time slot.
