Lionsgate, DHX team for CTV sitcom
Lionsgate Entertainment and DHX Media have gone into production on Satisfaction, a new half-hour comedy about the lives of three young adults for Canadian network CTV.
The 13x30mins series comes from Tim McAuliffe and stars Ryan Belleville (The L.A Complex), Luke Macfarlane (Brothers & Sisters) and Leah Renee (The Playboy Club) as a trio of twenty-something Toronto-based friends in a transitional phase of life that share all their relationship troubles and everyday crises with each other.
Jason Priestly, Mike Clattenburg and Steve Wright are among directors for the series.
Shooting has begun and will wrap in July ahead of an summer debut on Bell Media-owned CTV.
Canadian producer DHX is producing the series in association with Lionsgate and Bell Independent Production. DHX’s Michael Donovan executive produces along with McAuliffe, with Steven DeNure, Tracey Jardine and Jim Corston.
The programme was first unveiled last year.
