BBC America orders more Orphan Black
Orphan Black will go to a second season after BBC America and Space ordered another ten episodes of the conspiracy drama.
The series is made by Canadian indie Temple Street. US cable network BBC America and Canadian specialty channel Space jointly ordered the second season.
The show, about an orphan who witnesses the suicide of a woman who looks just like her, is distributed by BBC Worldwide, which launched it internationally at its Showcase event and then MIPTV.
Orphan Black was BBC Worldwide-owned BBC America’s second original series after it moved into drama commissioning with period police drama Copper.
