CBS Reality gets into Pawn

Channel operator Chello Zone has picked up nine seasons of Hardcore Pawn for its CBS Reality channel.

The observational doc series, which is set in a Detroit pawn shop, will go out on the channel’s EMEA feed, and be seen in Poland, Cyprus, Hungary, Romania, the Middle East and Africa from next month.

The series is produced by Zodiak USA for Tru TV and is the cable channel’s highest rating show. It is distributed internationally by Zodiak Rights.

CBS Reality is run as part of the CBS and Chello Zone channels JV, that stretches back to 2009.

As well as CBS Reality, the JV runs CBS Drama, CBS Action and CBS Europa with shows from the CBS catalogue supplemented with acquired content.
