Food Network to launch in Greece

Scripps Networks Interactive has rolled out Food Network in Greece for the first time, with the network available on the Hellas Online IPTV network.

Jon Sichel, managing director of Scripps EMEA said: “This deal is another key milestone in Scripps’ strategy to expand the European footprint of our unique lifestyle channels.”

Scripps Networks Interactive’s Travel Channel already broadcasts on Nova and OTE in Greece, while its lifestyle network Fine Living is also available in Greece via the On Telecoms platform and in Cyprus on Cablenet.

The new channel launch follows Scripps’ recent rollout of Food Network and Fine Living on the Canal Digital Kabel TV platform in Norway.
