Frantic appoints NBC alumna for scripted role
Canadian indie Frantic Films has hired ex-NBC and CBS producer Brenda Greenberg as its executive VP, scripted development.
Greenberg is best known for working on series such as Being Erica, The Best Years and Side Effects. She began her career at NBC and also worked on CBS series As the World Turns.
Toronto- and Winnipeg-based Frantic is behind TV shows Todd and the Book of Pure Evil, Men with Brooms and The Don Cherry miniseries among others, and feature films. “I’m really looking forward to building on their decade of experience in scripted programs and see greater opportunities ahead,” said Greenberg.
“Brenda’s relationships with top talent will open new opportunities while she helps carry forward our existing roster of projects in development,” Frantic’s CEO Jamie Brown said.
