MTV orders more international Plain Jane
MTV International has ordered another season of the international version of reality series Plain Jane.
The series, which transforms ordinary young women into ‘new and empowered’ individuals, airs on broadcast net The CW in the US.
Viacom-owned MTV International took format rights in 2011 and has already had two seasons of the show for its global nets.
The international version, which is shot in numerous global locations, is made by Sony Pictures Television-backed UK indie Gogglebox.
MTV claims 24 million cumulative viewers for the first two seasons.
