HBO Go launches on Polish pay platform

Liberty Global-owned UPC Poland has made the HBO Go multiscreen on-demand service available to its subscribers for the first time and has launched the full range of HBO HD services on its platform.

UPC customers will now be able to access four channels new to the platform – HBO 2 HD, HBO Comedy HD, Cinemax HD and Cinemax 2 HD – as well as the HBO Go service, making shows including Game of Thrones, Band of Brothers, Sex and the City, The Sopranos and Boardwalk Empire available to subscribers.

The full HD package is currently available at a promotional price of PLN25 (US$7.45), with HBO Go and HBO On Demand available for an additional PLN5. The Cinemax channels – Cinemax, Cinemax HD, Cinemax 2 and Cinemax 2 HD – are available in a package for PLN10.
