News brief: Strike Back returns for Cinemax, Sky

Pay TV drama series Strike Back is returning for a third season on HBO-owned Cinemax and BSkyB’s Sky 1.

The UK’s Left Bank Pictures is back to produce the new season of the thriller, which features a pair of counterterrorism operatives. As with season two, it will launch at San Diego’s Comic-Con International in July, ahead of a August 9 TV debut in the US.
