TV Guide Network adds four originals
TV Guide Network has unveiled four originals, including a series from parent Lionsgate and one from Wendy Williams Productions.
The shows are Tequila Sisters, from Rogue Atlas Productions in association with Lionsgate; Wendy Williams Project (WT) from Wendy Williams Productions; Mother of All Talent from Jarrett Creative; and John Rich Project (WT) from 25/7 Productions.
Tequila Sisters is an eight-part docu-soap that follows an affluent, multi-generational Hispanic family from southern California. Eli Frankel (Amazing Race) executive produces.
The Wendy Williams project will see the talk show host and TV personality as she embarks on her Broadway debut and capture behind-the-scenes footage of her daily talk show. Williams, Kevin Hunter, Jill Ramsey and Lisa Knapp are executive producers.
Mother of All Talent is another eight-part docu-soap, but this time following a mother-and-daughter child talent agency. Seth Jarrett and Julie Insogna-Jarrett are executive producing.
Finally, the John Rich show features the titular country music star in a part talk show, part reality series filmed on location at his home in Nashville, Tennessee. Biggest Loser creator David Broome is among the exec producers.
TVGN is a 50-50 joint venture of CBS Corp., which acquired its stake earlier this year, and Lionsgate. CBS owns 100% of TVGuide.com and TV Guide Mobile, after buying Lionsgate out of the business in June.
