News brief: Broadcasters prep royal baby programming
International broadcasters have lined up a raft of programming focused on the British royal baby.
In the US, OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network will run a ninety-minute special, William, Kate and the Royal Baby, in a primetime slot this Thursday and repeated the day after.
The one-off is distributed by Zodiak Rights and produced by Marathon and CB Productions. It was originally made for French free-to-air channel France 3.
Elsewhere, CBC in Canada, Globosat in Brazil and Mediacorp in Singapore have all pre-bought William and Kate: A Royal Arrival (pictured,) a 90-minute special from UK indie FutureSight Entertainment.
