Warren Buffet kids series sells globally
France’s PGS Entertainment has sold Secret KidVenture Club (fka Secret Millionaires Club), an animated series featuring investor Warren Buffett to networks in Brazil, Thailand, Singapore and Israel.
The 26x30mins series, has gone to MediaCorp in Singapore, Workpoint Entertainment in Thailand, Globosat in Brazil and ZOOM in Israel.
The news comes after Paris-based PGS launched an office in Hong Kong.
KidVenture Club comes from Andy Heyward’s A Squared Entertainment and China’s Xing Xing and was created with businessman Buffet. It features guest appearances from the likes of rapper Jay-Z, basketball player Shaquille O’Neal and technology impresario and philathropist Bill Gates.
“Broadcasters around the world are seeing the value in offering their young viewers a unique TV series that both entertains and teaches kids how to make key decisions about their lives and finances,” said PGS president Guillaume Soutter.
The show first launched on US kids channel The Hub.
