New hire for NBCU’s Monkey

NBCUniversal-owned Monkey Kingdom has recruited a new executive producer, Ollie Brack, from FremantleMedia’s UK prodco Talkback.

Brack will work across UK-based producer Monkey’s entertainment and alternative formats for the US and UK markets. NBCU said he will play an instrumental role in creating talent-led shows along the lines of NBCU’s shows with Girls Aloud, Charlotte Church and Elton John.

He will work alongside executive producers Sarah Dillistone and Daniel Marlowe, creative director Will Macdonald and managing director David Granger.

At Talkback, Brack spent the last three years as an exec producer, working on shows including Sweat The Small Stuff and Unzipped for the BBC and Lemon La Vida Loca and Lemon Aid for ITV.

Monkey’s shows include Made in Chelsea (pictured) for E4 and Newlyweds for Bravo in the US and Sky Living in the UK.
