Spike banks on Hungry Investors

US cable channel Spike TV has commissioned a 10-part series in which investors seek out ‘diamond in the rough’ restaurants.
Hungry Investors will see bar and nightlife expert Jon Taffer, celebrity chef John Besh and Top Chef‘s Tiffany Derry put two struggling eateries to the test to prove they deserve a cash injection that will turn the business around.
Eyeworks USA is attached to produce the series, which will broadcast in spring 2014.
Executive Producers are JD Roth, Todd A. Nelson, Brant Pinvidic and DJ Nurre. Taffer also executive produces.
