Matt Hatter heads for Central Europe

Chello Central Europe has acquired animated series Matt Hatter Chronicles for its pan-regional kids channel Megamax.

The boy-skewed Platinum Films produced series will launch on Megamax in November, bring the show to viewers in Hungary, Romania, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Szilvia Maschek, head of kids at Chello Central Europe said the show will be form a key part of its schedule. “We are keen to work on establishing the series as a flagship show by supporting the TV broadcast with fun and cool online content via the Megamax website,” she added.

Platinum distributes the show itself and has now shopped it to 80 territories. It was originally commissioned by UK broadcaster ITV.
