ITV Studios sells The Chase format

ITV Studios has shopped local versions of The Chase into Serbia and Croatia.

In Serbia, RTS has ordered a 40x60mins local version of the gameshow and in Croatia HRT will air a 30x60mins version.

The deals follow a recommission of The Chase in the UK on ITV, which has made a two-season, 324-episode order of the quiz series.

In the US GSN ordered a second, nine-episode series of the show and TV Channel Russia has also greenlit a second season. In Germany ITVS makes a local version of The Chase and has also produced celebrity specials of the show. German broadcaster NDR ordered a second run of the show earlier this year.

Tobias de Graaff, director of Global Television Distribution, ITV Studios Global Entertainment, said: “Every international territory that has launched the show has recommissioned it, and we’re delighted to see more broadcasters ordering the format and putting their trust in this well-crafted game show.”
