Shine TV looks within for MD

UK-based Shine TV has promoted Kelly Webb-Lamb to managing director.

The Shine Group prodco has handed her the role 18 months after she joined to become its creative director.

She joined from Princess Pictures during a restructure that saw the previously multi-genre producer Shine TV refocusing its efforts on factual and factual entertainment programming.

Shine TV and Princess CEO Henrietta Conrad said: “Kelly has done an exceptional job in delivering brilliant popular factual programmes to a range of broadcasters over the last eighteen months and has a bulging development slate which promises so much going into next year. It is credit to her that Shine TV is in such great shape, the promotion is richly deserved and I look forward to continuing to work with her.”
