Warner Bros. bags new RTL ents series
UK-based Warner Bros. International International Television Production has acquired format rights to RTL’s latest entertainment series, Two vs. the Nation.
The show comes from German producer I&U TV and premiered on RTL on September 9 to 5.5 million viewers – almost doubling the channel’s average slot share.
The live studio show pits two celebrities against the country through a series of mental challenges. The format includes an interactive home play along element.
“We know buyers are always looking for prime time entertainment formats with a hit track record and Two vs. the Nation is one. The great mix of elements, make it a fast paced and fun show that we are excited about bringing to the market” said Andrew Zein, senior VP, creative, format development and sales, WBITVP.
