New Italian distrib launches Roberto Benigni Rai show

A new Italian sales house is to launch Tutto Dante, a event programme based on epic poem The Divine Comedy that stars Oscar-winner Roberto Benigni.

Blue Box Entertainment will present the show to buyers during the conference session ‘The Route to Italian Entertainment and Creativity on the Monday of MIPCOM (October 7) at 2.30pm in Auditorium K at the Palais.

Tutto Dante comes from Italian producer Melampo Cinematografica. It broadcast on RAI and scored more than 20 million viewers, according to Blue Box which is also selling another similar show, 34, in Cannes.

Italian execs Lucio Presta and Silvio Testi launched Blue Box this year.
