Turner makes Asian exec moves
Turner International Asia Pacific has made made two senior appointments to its regional team.
Nadia Hwang (left), a Turner veteran of 14 years, has been upped to executive director, sales, across Thailand and Vietnam looking after pan-regional advertising sales accounts for Turner’s entertainment and kids networks and overseeing the Network Content Distribution side of the business for all brands in Thailand and Vietnam.
Hwang is also the project leader of the partnership between Turner and Major Kantana in Bangkok which operates the Boomerang service in Thailand.
Turner has also made a key sales hire, bringing in Tony Lin (right) as director, sales, for Taiwan.
“Both of these senior appointments reflect Turner’s new management strategy in the region,” says Sunny Saha, SVP and Managing Director for Turner Southeast Asia Pacific. “We are moving away from a centralised, regional hub approach and are stepping up our presence in individual markets to accelerate growth initiatives on a local level.”
