Twofour making slate of Arabic language shows
UK producer and distributor Twofour has secured an order for eight new series from Abu Dhabi broadcaster Abu Dhabi Media.
Twofour, which has dedicated Middle East-focused division, will make a raft of factual and fact-ent series that fits with state-backed ADM has a public service remit.
The series include 13x60mins The Story of Abu Dhabi, 13x60mins Top Ten: Abu Dhabi, about the nation’s most notable landmarks and destinations and 6x60mins The Goodness of Our Land.
There will also be Exceptional Emiratis, about national role models, cooking competition Chef needed and car decoration series Go Decorate.
Jonney Steven, Twofour’s head of MENA, noted: “Our unique secondment scheme sees Abu Dhabi Media team members working alongside our Twofour teams to produce these programmes, so it is a true partnership to produce new quality Arabic language programming from Abu Dhabi’s new media hub.”
