Zodiak sells The Returned into Asia

Zodiak Rights has cut the first Asian deals for hit French-language drama The Returned.

The drama sold well in English-speaking territories and Asian broadcasters have now bought the series, which was originally produced for Canal+ by Haut et Court.

In Thailand, True Vision Group has acquired the show, marking the first time it has picked up a French drama.

Similarly, Now TV in Hong Kong has made the show its first-ever French-language acquisition.

Taiwanese pubcaster PTS and Sony’s pay TV channel AXN in South Korea have also bought the show from Zodiak, which said it has now sold the drama into over 40 territories.

Other international buyers include HBO Latin America, Channel 4 in UK, SBS in Australia and SVT in Sweden.
