Disney-owned cable channel ABC Family has greenlit two comedies – one executive produced by High School Musical alumni Ashley Tisdale and the other from Tori Spelling.
Tisdale is executive producing Young & Hungry, which stars Emily Osment as a feisty food blogger, who wants to become the personal chef of a wealthy young tech entrepreneur. Eric Tannenbaum and Kim Tannenbaum also executive produce, with CBS Television Studios, Relativity Television and Jessica Rhoades also attached for production duties.
The second series, Mystery Girls, stars Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth (both Beverly Hills 90210) as a pair of former TV show detectives brought back together by a real life mystery.

Both series are half-hour comedies. Production gets underway soon and both will premiere before the end of the year.
