Mentorn poaches BBC doc specialist

Mentorn Media’s Scottish office has poached Iain Scollay, a documentary specialist from UK pubcaster the BBC.

Scollay will be Mentorn Scotland’s creative executive, a role in which he will develop ideas and executive produce and make programming. He’ll be based in Glasgow.

Scollay is best known as a BBC filmmaker behind docs for the Cutting Edge, Bodyshock and One Life strands. He previously worked at RDF Media on unscripted format Faking It and co-founded Scottish producer Matchlight, which is a joint venture with DCD Media.
