News brief: Picture Box helps DMax Get Stuffed
Italian channel DMax has acquired Get Stuffed, a 13x30mins food-themed extreme competition reality series, from Canada’s Picture Box Distribution.
The show comes from Worldwide Bag Media and follows a pair of extreme competitors who go head-to-head in crazy food challenges at North American festivals, with the loser forced to tackle a gut-busting meal of the others choice.
Picture Box secured the deal last week, and has also announced the sale of Anaïd Productions’ 52x30mins doc series The Liquidator to Discovery in territories such as Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa; and heavy machinery-themed reality series Selling Big to Australia’s Seven Network.
