Endemol makes Pointless CEE deals

Endemol has sealed finished programme and format deals for its hit UK-originated gameshow Pointless in the Central and Eastern Europe region.

Polish pubcaster TVP has ordered a local version of the quiz and a 26-episode Polish version will run on the TVP2 channel starting later this month.

PRVA in Serbia has also ordered a local version of the series with a 24-part series greenlit. In Macedonia Sitel has commissioned a 30-episode version.

In other CEE news Endemol said its Italy-originated quiz series Next One has been renewed by MTV in Hungay and Top Channel in Albania. In Bulgaria TV7 has extended the first run of the series.
