Banijay to rep ITV Studios shows in Spain

Banijay Group has closed an exclusive multi-year deal with ITV Studios Global Entertainment to rep the latter’s formats in Spain.

Banijay Spain, which formed after Banijay acquired DLO Producciones to sit alongside Spanish compatriot Cuarzo in its stable, will handle adaptation and production of ITVSGE formats. These include Come Dine With Me (left), Four Weddings, Hell’s Kitchen, Saturday Night Takeaway and Surprise Surprise.

Cuarzo’s Ana Rosa Quintana and drama specialist DLO’s José Manuel Lorenzo lead Banijay Spain and the ITVSGE deal represents its first international output agreement.
